email and IE

I am trying to help a friend, she is using windows 7 and has a shared computer between herself and her husband. She can get on IE to check her yahoo mail. but her husband cant. IE just wont open for him.

What could the problem be?

Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
Are they using separate user accounts on this machine ?
If no they should
If yes reset ie seems the easiest thing to try and be sure to delete personal settings,

Export Favorites to html file before resetting Internet explorer/ just to be safe.
