Email body mysteriously disappearing!

Not sure where to begin on this one.

A clients outgoing emails have started ditching the body text before arriving at the recipient end. Everything else arrives, attachments etc.


They use Outlook 2003 on Win 7. The problem happens rarely but enough to make it embarrassing and it can apparently happen with any recipient.

I could start troubleshooting but they are heavy users of email and pretty much anything I do will cause chaos.
I did however try switching off html and that seems to have helped... but why???

The culprit might be any application or plugin that "filters" their mail, probably an antivirus. There are known problems with AVG producing blank email bodies for example, it also happens with NOD32 and probably others. Keep in mind this could be on both ends.

Ha, good thinking, they have eset smart security. I'll update it to v7 and see what happens. Thanks muchly!!
