E-mail not available message appears on screen when not convenient - eg in the middle of a power point presentation. Can it be disabled? Any suggestions.
Do you need to have the email client running whilst you are giving a Powerpoint presentation? If not, close it down. You can always open it up when you have finished your other task.

When I am running powerpoint I do not have live mail open. Is closing down different from that? The problem occurs when I am offline and live mail seems to be searching for a connection.

Yes, by closing I mean shutting down the application altogether by clicking the red X at the top right of its window. This is as opposed to simply minimising it (sending it to the taskbar).
