email question

When I click on the little 'email' icon, on the top of the screen in w/7, I get this response, "default email client is not properly installed".
My email is Yahoo. What do I need to do to set it so when I click on the 'email' icon, it sends me to yahoo?

Yahoo does not support POP3 (use of email client), unless you use (if still available) the pay service. There are many great email providers, I use gmx.com. Really is good and I can use an email client.
