Scam! or close to one ....
Just received email from windows7.digitalriver.com saying that since this offer is about to expire, and since it takes 2 weeks to get approved, I might want to go elsewhere to buy my windows 7 copy.
No kidding !!!
They stall me for 11 weeks, then tell me it's too late to get the offer.
they refer me to a site called "the ultimate steal" where you can buy other microsoft programs for a discount as well.
but when you try to order the Windows7 Student Offer you get this message about it being about to expire and that it takes 2 weeks for approval.
Another example of Microsoft shafting its customers. No wonder so many honest people think nothing of stealing anything Microsoft that they can get their hands on: the company does not deserve the respect that's routinely given to most other honest-dealing corporations.
