I need help emailing photos from picture library.
Here is how I used to do it in XP, so how does it now work in Windows7?
Locate picture, click Email, a resizing window would appear, click YES to resize and a “New” email would appear with the resized picture as an attachment, ready to be addressed.
Here is where I am at with Windows 7. I select the picture I wish to Email; I click Email (Highlighted in yellow).
Screen shot photo library.JPG
This next screen appears (very similar to XP). I select a size from the drop down, and click attach.
Attach Files.JPG
The window quickly goes through a resize, and closes. BUT then nothing, I have no idea where the resized picture went; no “new” email opens.
I am at a loss, Can anyone help??

Apologies if this reply seems to be a hijack of the thread but I think it is related in a way.

I use Windows Live Mail for my emails and when I follow your directions above it opens WLM behind the 2nd picture posted by CarolC.
I'd like to know how you get WLM to open in front of the 2nd picture instead.

I reinstalled the same Microsoft 2003 suit that I was running on XP before my Windows 7 clean install, so I am running Outlook 2003, Sorry I failed to add this.
Thank you taking interest in my problem.

Problem fixed. Was forced into installing Microsoft office 2007 for a reason other than this problem, it was also suggested that I install Windows Live Photo Gallery, Suddenly Problem fixed !!! I bring up windows live photo gallery, pick one or multuple pictures, hit Email, the resize option comes up, then does outlook, I am back in business.
Hope that this helps those of you with similar issues.
