emails appearing on wrong computer

I have Win 7, my wife has Win 8. Recently emails sent to me are also appearing on her computer.
We both have AOL.
The emails are addressed to only me.
How can this happen?

Hello 3shorts,

The first thing I would think of is an email account being "hacked"...
Maybe someone got a contacts list or address from you or your wife's PC/email-id somehow, and is causing this.
I'm just guessing here, but if this happened to me, that would be a concern.
For that, I would start running scans for Virus(s) and Malware.

Also, a bit more detail would help.
Are you both using AOL Web mail (browser)?
Or, are you using client programs such as MS Office Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.?

I would also check and make sure automatic forwarding did not somehow get enabled.
