Hi All,

I love playing my PC Game, Emergency 4. The install went well in Win. 7 RC 7100. However, when I go to start the game it begins to start with a black screen, then just closes off.

Any thoughts or ideas.

I have had no problems with this game on this laptop in either Windows XP Pro or Vista. (32 Bit). Never a problem until now.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am having the same problem with emergency 4/(911 First Responders). The weird thing is that i was able to play in BUILD 7000 and now that Im in 7100 I can no longer play the game, and nothing I do seems to help. The Compatibility thing has always just seemed like a waste of space to me since it never seemed to help in any of the win os's that carried it. Any help on this issue is GREATLY appreciated. Also, You may want to watch emergency-planet.com since they have alot of patches and mods, they may post a solution. i will be wathing the site myself, and the LA mod is Kick a**

Run the game 'As Admin', by right-clicking on the shortcut/program.

Many games/programs need to setup 'administrator' level settings when they're first run and fail when they cannot. Most applications only need to be run this way for the first time. After that, they're used normally.

ok guys, i dont know why this seems to work, but on the same computer I installed Win 7 alone and the game did not work, however, when i dual boot Win XP and Win 7 with XP on the primary partition OR install win7 as an upgrade to XP rather than a custom install, the game works fine. I think it has something to do with the way it uses the display drivers. Try manually downloading the proper display driver and if it has an accelerator driver get it. If u have an intel board its pretty easy, dont know about AMD.
