I have a similar problem like Scotti3. Blu screen after 30 min of gaming:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
*** STOP: 0x000000D1 (0xFFFFF800020060EF, ...

after resetting the PC, on boot-up:
CMOS settings not OK

Started Windows normaly and everything works just fine until gaming.

Same here. Everything works perfectly. But the moment I fire up any game, BAM. Blue screens galore.

Something creepy is going on, I'm going to do some internet footwork and look around for you guys, this problem has gotten very common, seemingly all the sudden. There is some common denominator I'm just missing it at the moment.

@thatsme,

Please do not post your problems in other peoples threads. Start your own. That way you can get the individual attention in diagnosing your problem.

Thanks a lot, Magus. I've searched for hours, and only seem to find people like me complaining, yet no solutions. It's getting ridiculous.

Okay well it's both nvidia and ati, and it's also happening in xp, strangely haven't found any complaints about the problem in vista... strangely.
Across the board everyone is saying they have the latest drivers.
So I dug to find something in common with the two driver packages.
I only came up with two things.
this:
Download details: Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer)

and this:
Download details: DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer

And while a lot of people will have the latest dx just from installing new games. It seems a lot of people miss the new .net framework stuff.

You can try installing them both to see if it helps at all.
...and I'll keep trying to figure out what they have in common that could be an issue.

I can't be anymore specific than you sadly, only detail I see for your psu is 500watt but that should be sufficient for what you're doing unless it's just really weak on amps.
