Hi Guyz,
I just want to know something, I have downloaded Windows 7 Enterprise RTM few months ago, and I have installed it on my PC. One of my friend wanted to have that RTM 90 days trial, so I gave it to him, now Im wondering my copy is still legal or not. All the RTM enterprise ISO shares same key?

I believe this is true, since it is only a 90 day trial version ;)

It doesn't matter if you are using the 90 day trial. That is a free download right from the Microsoft website. You wouldn't have an issue until you actually use a legit key...and then you wouldn't want to share....but with enterprise versions you are supposed to use business licensing anyway.

When we're installing Enterprise RTM doesnt ask for a key, key already included with it, so that'z why Im wondering. Anyone know Microsoft is using same key in every 90 day trial version of Enterprise RTM or each download has unique key included?

probably the same key.

That version cant be upgraded or rekeyed to be permanent, it will self destruct after 90 days no matter what.

The Enterprise 90-day trial has a built-in serial that everyone automatically uses.

It's supposed to run out 90 days after download though. I also believe if you want to use a "permanent" version you have to reinstall.

It's possible the copy you gave your friend is going to run out the same time yours does -- that they don't get their own new 90-day start. Not 100% sure how the countdown works.

I wouldn't worry too much about sharing that 90-day trial, but just know it's truly going to be limited life.
