I wanted to try to dual boot my main PC to run both Windows 10 and 7 on separate partitions, so I created a bootable USB and tried to install it to my back-up computer to see if it can work. My backup is an ASUS laptop that came with Windows 8, which I later upgraded to 10. I was able to install Windows 7 and my computer is working perfectly fine, so I went ahead to try it on my main PC, a Dell tower I bought a few months ago with Windows 10 pre-installed. I partitioned the Hard Drive, but was met with an error during installation regarding winload.efi, which I fixed by fiddling with the UEFI settings. Now windows 7 begins to load but I get error code 0x0000007B, which I cannot fix no matter what I do.

I heard it could be a problem with Drivers. Any suggestions?

You have to set BIOS properly.
Win 10 uses secure boot that is incompatible with win 7.
On BIOS, disable secure boot and fast boot (fast boot can be enabled after installation).
Boot Win 7 as UEFI and install on the partition you have created.

On BIOS, disable secure boot and fast boot (fast boot can be enabled after installation).
Boot Win 7 as UEFI and install on the partition you have created.

I already tried both. I even tried booting from the SSD from my laptop... still same error.

I tried it again, but this time I booted off the USB. Now I have a separate issue, I can't even use my keyboard or mouse once the Win7 install screen appears.

Is your SSD a M.2 or a regular 2.5" drive?
You need to add USB 3.x and SATA and / or NVMe drivers to the installation disk.
Read my tutorial Create a Windows 7 USB flash installation with new drives for new MB's - Windows 7 Help Forums

My computer has 2 USB 2 ports, and I made sure my bootable USB and my mouse were plugged in to either of them while I was installing. The SATA thing might be a problem, though, so I'll take a look at your tutorial.

Also, my SSD is a regular 2.5".

If you boot from the Win 7 installation disk and have keyboard and mouse you can add the SATA drivers during installation.
https://www.sevenforums.com/attachments/installation-setup/392829d1476747068-how-install-windows-7-skylake-dell-xps-8910-a-sata.zip

The problem is that I can't get USB input on the install screen. Either the install screen is freezing or I don't know what, so I don't even have the opportunity to load the drivers.

And that's if I boot off the USB. If I try to run the installer from Windows 10, I get 0x000007b after it restarts for the first time after "expanding files".
