Thanks Bare Foot Kid, as you offer, I will ask you one more thing.
When I receive me new disk, with not any configuration, shall I follow the clean install tutorial, or should I 'install' the hard drive or configure it, before going to the Win7 install step

I would not do anything to the new HDD and seeing that it will be a 1.5TB? HDD just put it in the machine and starting at step 7 of this tutorial I would create a 100GB to do the install to then you can always extend the Windows partition to include the remaining unallocated space on the HDD or create additional Primary partitions or create an Extended partition after the installation completes if you choose.


How to Do a Clean Installation with Windows 7

Just so you don't have any issues with Windows installing to such a large HDD.
