error 651 question

Hi folks, having a problem setting up a verizon hotspot connection. Have a Dell desktop machine running Win7 Pro 32bit. When I connect the usb wireless card to machine, I get error: 'Connecting thru WAN Miniport (PPPOE)… Error 651: The modem has reported an error.' I have found several fixes for this online but all are for wired connections. Anybody have any first-hand experience with this error?

I would go to the site of whoever made your usb wireless and make sure you have the latest drivers.
I would point you to it but you neglected to tell me the model.
