error 800736b3 could not search for new updates problem

My wifes computer failed during updates yesterda. repeated tries came up with various errors.

after trying a variety of things I happened on here and started following the posting instructions.
I had previously run sfc and dism per suggestions on other forums with no luck. I had cut boot and services down to minimal with no luck.

When I ran update ready code. It said it had fixed things.. but sfc no longer would run and update still did not work. I tried restoring to the oldest restore point. which of course was mid disaster and the system stopped booting with blue screen of death... several repairs and reboot later I am up and running ,,,, sfc scans without errors and update is still stuck. I have not run the update ready program again as it seemed to make things worse.

It won't let me upload the log files because of 'missing security token'

I had to delete the .cab files from the zip file as they were over the size limit. Let me know what else you need.
