Solved Error 80073712 when installing KB4512506 ( 2018-08 Security Rollup )

I am encountering Error 80073712 when installing KB4512506 -

2019-08 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems


The downloading gets to 11% complete then hangs up and eventually fails with 80073712 error which I gather is a "corruption" error of some kind



Steps so far:
1) tried a couple of times - failed
2) tried download from catalog and then install - failed

3) run update troubleshooter. A few things got fixed but trying install again failed
4) download and run SURT64.

5) run sfc /scannow - did not find any integrity problems
6) try install again - still fail
6) reach out to u guys :D


Hope you can point me in right direction.

Sorry for the delay in response, I've been having some Family issues.
CheckSUR.log show some minor issues have been corrected, SFC /Scannow reports n0 integrity problems, good so far.
Would you please upload CBS folder C;\Windows\Logs\CBS
and WindowsUpdate.log C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log
for perusal
