my computer is having some issues when i try to
install windows update or i try to troublshoot any program. i get error 80070426

Defragment your hard dirives and then command prompt -> sfc /scannow

Control Panel -> Administrative -> Services -> set Cryptographic Services to Automatic

Hi I tried doing your instruction but once I got to the Cryptographic Services I had another problem. It is on Automatic but it won't start.

Have you tried the Fix It Utility: How do I reset Windows Update components? ?
