Hi,

Since last week, when we try to logon our Windows 7 computers (at domain) with an user that never has been logged on this computer we receive the following error:

The user profile Service failed the logon. Cannot be loaded the user profile.

I looked for a solution in Google, but it's not in relation with Profilelist on regedit (because this user has never logged on the computer).

It did not happen with local users, only domain ones.

Can you help me?

Thanks,
Regards,

Is this one machine or all/some of them?
Does your old domain accounts keep working on the problem PC/s? Is the time synchronized with the DC?

DNS issue perhaps? Does Security event log show any failure audits? How about System logs?

Also, would this help? https://chentiangemalc.wordpress.com/2011/07/18/case-of-the-user-service-service-failed-the-logon/ It talks about CEIP (Customer Experience Improvement Program), now these days it is active due to Windows 10. Maybe you have Windows 10 updates interfering? For a list of such updates, see http://www.sevenforums.com/general-...dows-10-upgrade-updates-windows-7-8-a-39.html

Thanks for your help, I can see several errors of Access Denied on this folder:

c:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Plantillas\LiveContent\Managed\Word Document Building Blocks\3082

I tried to remove the folder and it works in 1 computer, do you know what is this folder?

Thanks,

Regards,

Looks like a templates folder of some sort. Not much references to it.

It works in 1 computer
Does it not work on other PCs or not checked them yet/testing on this PC?

Checked the NTFS permissions of the folder yet? Maybe need to add domain users or some such?

Did you check for any potential malware?

I will repeat this:
Checked the NTFS permissions of the folder yet? And compare them with other folders nearby.

I saw it and seems to be the problem, but I wish to know what could be the origin.

One potential cause is malware as mentioned.
One other may be an administrative fault. If a group was given permissions and later new user was not added to the group perhaps , but this is pure speculation on my end :)

When you make sure it is not a case of malware then give necessary permissions instead of deleting as a first step. If still can't get it to work you can perhaps delete the folder.

Regards,

As the folder's path implies, it is for default MS Office templates. Different Office plug-ins can use this area for their templates. The permissions seem to get messed up from time to time. See AndyLake23's post in this thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...r/08458150-9b1e-405c-a2b5-cf67b2652eae?page=3

If you look back to page 2 of that thread, you will see other plug-in folders have this issue too.

If I propagate the permissions it works. I can discard Virus or Malware problem. Someone have an explanation about that?

Thanks,
