Error loading operating system

I have a problem with my laptop. it's a ideapad z470.
my problem is that whenever I turn on the laptop, it gives me a error loading operating system message.
I have searches multiple threads and tried them but it didn't work for me.

What I Have Tried
1. windows repair disc- after it loads the Microsoft loading bar, the screen stays black
2. windows installation disc- screen turns black but with movable cursor.
3. pressing f8- after loading all the files, it just stays there for a few minutes and then black screen with cursor.
4. re-putting back in the harddrive- no effect
5. system recovery button- stays on "loading files" bar for a while then to black screen

The BIOS detects the harddrive though.
