Error loading operating system

Hello
I am using windows 7 on my computer and recently I figured that my computer started freezing a lot so I decided to install a fresh copy of windows. I did the same and scanned my whole computer and found no viruses either, the freezing problem was still not fixed. I searched up some but found no good solution. Then somehow the condition started getting worse, my computer stopped booting and it started restarting itself at the win7 startup animation. And then even worse.. now it only shows a black screen after turning it on and then shows the error "error loading operating system"after a few minutes. I tried many things I found online but nothing worked since I can't even get Into my windows for now. Safe mode isn't working either, I have no idea what to do now, please help me with this error. Or could it be a hardware problem too?
Please remember I only have a bootable windows 7 USB with me, no cd/dvd at this moment if the fix requires a copy of windows.

ok, the fact that a clean install didn't fix it pretty much confirms that it is a hardware issue, have you tried startup repair yet? hat might reveal what is stopping you getting into the PC and at least allow you to get in and find out what is wrong.

First my disclaimer- I'm not a computer expert by no means. But i agree you have a hardware issue.
I would start by checking my Hard Drive cableing connections. You might even have a bad cable. I went thru the same experience and guess what!! I finally found it was the cable connecting my CD/DVD drive to the main board. It took me a year and a lot of hair pulling but i solved the issue.
