Error Saving Wireless Profile (Windows 7)

This issue has been occurring recently. When I go to Internet Connections > Properties > Connection, select "Connect to a more preferred network if available" and click [OK], it comes up with: Error Saving Wireless Profile. Specific error: Access is denied.

I've followed the advice on Malware Tips to remove any malware, viruses etc.

Is it maybe a setting which has changed my administrative permissions? If so, I've tried logging in on my other Administration user account and try it out but the same message keeps popping up.

I hope someone can help!

I was hoping I wouldn't have to manually create a new network profile, as it won't fix the core of the issue.
