Solved Error (STATUS:0xc000000f) while doing recovery on Dell win 7

Hello,

I want to do factory settings on my system as it is running very slow now. But when i do F8 ----> Repair my system , i get an error saying windows failed to start. STATUS: 0xc000000f INFO: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.

What does it mean? it has something to do with my recovery partition? i have given snapshots of my recovery partition. i added a label/drive H to it. When i open the contents of recovery partition i see nothing. check attachments. but the size of partition is 8-9GB.

Help me out. Read so many articles on recovery partitions, backup, restore. Nothing helped. So, at last joined this forum and posting my problem.

See the Suggested answer Posted by SpeedStep on 12 Apr 2012 9:27 AM. Scroll bot you will find this comment. Just use the Dell Datasafe Local Backup. Now i have a bootable USB and my lappy is back to factory settings.
