Solved: Error Unloading the Box

I have received the download files for the windows 7 upgrade from digital river, but when I run the main file it says unloading the box and then returns the following error message about 30% of the way through:

---------------------------
Unloading the Box
---------------------------
An error was encountered.

Unspecified error
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

How can I fix this? It happens every time. Is there anywhere else I can look?

I've re-downloaded once, but once more surely can't hurt. I think the limit is 5 from what I've read. Thank you for your quick response! I'll update the thread with what I find.

You need to re-download the files

I'm having the same exact problem. I've re downloaded the files 3 times just in case, and still, I receive that error.

If you are receving this problem at the end of extraction, and you got 64-bit from Digital River but you are attempting to extract the files on a 32-bit system, you will get a writing error. More info here:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/30470-make-bootable-iso-student-d-l.html

But if it happens during the middle of the extraction, I suspect it's a bad download or other problem.

Alright Calamachino, let's try and figure some commonalities out. What OS are you using? Are you downloading through a school firewall or other such device?

Hi, I'm using Windows XP Media Center Edition, version 2002, Service Pack 2. And I am upgrading to Windows 7 Professional Upgrade - 32 bit.

I am not downloading through a firewall, unless there is one enabled on my Netgear router I am unaware of.
