Error when trying to get a ISO from the Microsoft Software Recovery

So I'm trying to get a Win 7 ISO of any edition, without a key for PE building purposes. So I tried the Microsoft software recovery, but it just says "An error has occurred" or something to those words, without a error code or anything. (I even tried in IE 11, no addons.) I have a Windows 7 Pro SP1 disc, but it seems a bit corrupted . Is there anyway to get around the error?

Honestly, I haven't seen anybody have any luck with that site.

When you say without a key, I assume you are still trying to use your key since that's how the site is "supposed" to work?

There are other unauthorized places to get them on the web, but we can't post them.

If you find one and want to check the hash, it can be found under "details" at MSDN Downloads for what ever version you download.

You need to enter a key to get an ISO, and it has to be retail or builders.

Enter your Win7 Pro key and download the ISO for both 32bit and 64bit. Then make the universal installer as described in http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/85813-windows-7-universal-installation-disc-create.html for all your needs.

i don't know what kind of key it is. It's from a expired MSDN subscription, that's all I know. It works though.

E: I could maybe be able to find another way. Since all I need is the install.wim + boot.wim, I could use the "corrupted" CD...
