I need some help here! I keep trying to install/uninstall applications and keep coming up with errors. Some errors have number I.D.s and some don't. The most common ones are 2503 followed shortly by error 2502. I can't access windows installer folder, because it is not there. I check the box saying "show hidden folders" and still nothing. Can anyone help me?

Yes. What Malware scan do you reccomend? I have run Malwarebytes and Super Anti Spyware. Both I have at least twice each.

Malwarebytes full scan should do it

I just ran a Malwarebytes full scan and it turned up nothing. What now?

Ok if it is not malware it is a problem with the system software. Please check event viewer to see what errors are logged there relating to the problem.

I am assuming you dont have a backup to restore from prior to when the problem started correct?

There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Event viewer (local) and look for errors listed in the last day, week, etc. Then go to the windows log>application tab. Finally the windows Logs>system tabs.

You want to look for all errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.

I'm not seeing a list of errors. Did I miss something? What do I click once event viewer is open?
