I see that ESET Smart Security 4 is now listed as Windows 7 32-bit/64-bit compatible:

Firewall, Antivirus, Antispam: ESET Smart Security Has It All

...under the System Requirements section. I wonder if they've updated it since I tried it, I may put the latest build on to try it again.

I've been using ESETx64 + Win7x64 for a few months now and haven't had any issues with it. What happened the last time?

When I set the firewall to interactive mode, under a non-admin user when I try to make the firewall remember a setting for software that wants to access the Internet, I get a "Failed to change settings" error. Additionally, sometimes when running a manual virus scan I'll get a "ESET GUI has stopped working" error, and ESET has indeed frozen.

what antivirus and firewall thats in use?
