Ethernet driver is missing.

i just reinstalled the OS on this computer and ive been trying to figure out how to establish this local area connection. I dont want to run off wifi anymore.

i dont have any of the pc's old cd's.
i have a biostarr A880G+ motherboard

i tried installing the realtek windows 7 lan driver and its saying something about my plug being in deep sleep

I may be missing it, but I don't see a ethernet card in your device manager. I only see a wireless card.

I agree with Nitro58, your device manager only shows a wireless adapter.

If your computer has an ethernet adapter that doesn't have a driver, it would still show up in device manager, but with a yellow question mark against it.

There is no way you can install a driver for an ethernet adapter if you don't have one installed.

Even if, as you seem to indicate, you do have an ethernet adapter we can't help until you tell us who manufactured it.

The best place for you to look is your computer manufacturer's support site.

ether LAN has disabled its self in Bios or the Wifi driver has bugged the LAN

A few suggestions:

1: check in BIOS to see if LAN is Enabled
2: Uninstall the WIFI or Disable device and refresh to see if LAN appears
3: You may need to remove the WIFI card to install LAN then after reinstall the WIFI card (Some PC's require this method with windows 7)
