Ethernet Hookup Not Listed

As you can see in this first picture my Ethernet Cable Adapter is hooked up.

But it's not listed as a connection. Also if i disable my wireless adapter the Ethernet won't connect to internet.

Have you checked the status of the Ethernet in the the "Change adapter settings"? If it is working, then there's nothing to worry about.

My Ethernat will not connect to internet if I disable my wireless connection.

Sounds like your Ethernet connection is not working; when you think it is working, you are actually connected via the wifi connection.

Ethernet won't be listed with the available wireless connections; only the wireless connections show in that list.
