The easiest way to check what something might be worth is to go to eBay/craigslist....etc. and search your specific PC. From eBay you can see completed listings in the advanced options.

I guess those are the prices in the UK. If you sell it for 50% of that, you'll be lucky.

My guess is that the 200 pound minimum will discourage prospective bidders.

You have to decide if you want to sell it or put it on the shelf.

What's it worth to you on the shelf---does that help you generate funds for a new PC?

I'd take what I could get and move on--by lowering the minimum.

Many possible bidders are so fearful of being ripped off on Ebay that they will bypass an item that is "worth" 200 pounds, but might take the risk at 50 or 100 pounds.

Just my opinion from watching Ebay for 15 years.

Good luck regardless.

pedroc1999, I hope you realized i said max would probably be around 200 - 250 for the parts brand new. 200 dollars is only 124 pounds. I would suggest going lower then that if you wish to sell it. remember if people want it they will bid only if they think they're getting a good price.

how much do you suggest

Are you willing to take what it will bring?

If so, start with 0.

Stuff is worth what it brings--rather than what you would prefer to get.

If you never sell it, it's worth nothing.

It's declining in value weekly.

There may be better methods to sell it--I'm not sure about UK.
