I did attempt to try it out a few days ago, but when I launched it, the splash screen came up then closed, I tinkered around with it for 5 mins and gave up for a game of halflife death match lol

you play as a spaceship? thats kinda odd...

whats a sub cost, btw? the support page on their site eats donkey, and i couldn't find out how much it costs.

LOL. It is $15 a month, which is a lot, but it is worth it.

You play as a CAPTAIN, and you pilot (command at higher lvls) a space ship. You have a little picture, and that is all you ever see of yourself. The game takes place entirely in space.
