I have been getting these annoying BSOD as well as restarts while gaming, even though i have tested my system using unigine valley and furmark a lot now, usually without any problems. For furmark i use the standard preset 1080p burn in test, unigine valley is tested using the highest settings, all without any problems or artifacts. I checked my temps, which peaks 81c using furmark, and the whole thing almost always "survives" the test without rebooting etc. I think once it had rebooted, so i checked the event manager and it was classed as event 41 or something.
But that was i think the only time it restarted, being such a demanding application i thought thats ok, as furmark did warn of possibility of system reboot prior to a burn in test.
However, after playing games like Railworks 4, after 10 mins or so (i would say consistently) it restarts, or freezes with a buzzingnoise (dont know how to describe it, like some digitally distorted audio), usually i restart it manually, or it restarts itself and without a blue screen. Sometimes the blue screen lasts for a few millisecond and then disappears so i was unable to get a proper dmp file for the BSOD.
I have installed windows various times, one thing i realised i havent done before was to install this USB driver. Before, i had a BSOD which managed to creat a dump file (please see attachment 1) and pointed out that it was a USBPORT.SYS problem. So i realised i havent installed some USB driver everytime i installed windows (doh). However, the restarting problem still trolls me. My last restart yielded this event report.
Please look at my two event report in the following attachments. I didnt know any other way of presenting the error report other than to take screen shots unfortunatly, hope this helps. If this is a wrong format, can you please help me to provide you with a correct one that's helpful to you. I also have old dumpfiles from my old system should you need them.
Please note iam not that much of a tech savvy, i dont understand all the jargon or have any programming experiance etc. Sorry if this did not make any sense, as iam extremely frustrated about this
Thanks in advance
