In event viewer I have" Event ID 11 Wininit -secuload.dll"
and the following:

"Custom dynamic link libraries are being loaded for every application. The system administrator should review the list of libraries to ensure they are related to trusted applications."

Any clue whether I should undertake something ?

I'm wary of wininit stuff (in the past it was associated with viruses).
I'd suggest performing a bunch of anti-virus scans just to be sure.
Here's a link to some that I've found: Malware

Free registered DLL viewer: RegDllView - Register dll/ocx/exe utility
Then scan the files to see if anything has too much activity

From an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt

Run "sfc.exe /scannow" (without the quotes).
Beyond that, I'd have to suggest either a repair install of the OS, or awipe of the hard drive and a clean install of the OS.

scannow corrected some corrupted files but the event error remains.
I'll have to live with it because a reinstall is too much hassle :)

thanks
