Solved Event Viewer Error WerSvc service

Hello, I have an error in event viewer

The WerSvc service was unable to log on as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM with the currently configured password due to the following error:
The request is not supported.

To ensure that the service is configured properly, use the Services snap-in in Microsoft Management Console (MMC).

I have googled and I think it might be a malware.
Recently I have viewed a website that is now presented with a warning so Im quite worried. Also, yesterday, my computer's microsoft security essentials was disabled, and I have no idea why.


Full Scan did not reveal anything, so Im using Microsoft safety scanner Microsoft Safety Scanner - Free online tool for PC health and safety


What is this error?

Came up clean. For the error you are getting, I would recommend checking for data corruption:

• Run Disk Check with both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors checked for all SSDs. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/96938-check-disk-chkdsk-read-event-viewer-log.html.
  For any drives that do not give the message:
  Windows has checked the file system and found no problems
  run disk check again as above. In other words, if it says:
  Windows has made corrections to the file system
  after running the disk check, run the disk check again.
  
  
• Run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html up to three times to fix all errors with a restart in between each. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations.

Everything checks out there... Odd. Let's see if the service itself is running as it should.

For the services, if you

• open the Start Menu and type Services into the Search programs and files, you will get a few options.
• Right click on the option with gears as the icon and Run as administrator.
• Right click the WerSvc service.
• Click Properties.
• Go to the Dependencies tab, and in the first box, a list of services that service depends on will be given.
• Write down the services that need to start for dependencies to be resolved.
• Make sure these services are all set to start automatically by
  • right clicking those services,
  • clicking properties,
  • going to the General tab,
  • and making the Startup type is Automatic.

Ah, it is known in that list as Windows Error Reporting Service. Sorry, should have opened mine and tracked it down for you. Mine has no dependencies and has a startup type of Manual. It is not currently running. What about yours?
