My computer freezes every hour, to the minute, so checked Event Viewer. It is a sea of errors and warnings, nearly 1200 in the last 3 months. I know enough to be dangerous, but can all these problems be caused by one or a couple of things, or am in water so deep, I should just try reinstalling Windows? The freezing started 4 days ago and a system restore did nothing.
I wonder if the reported Crucial M4 SSD firmware problem for drives exceeding 5100 hours of use locking up every hour is a cause. Little scared of a firmware update...might screw this up.
