every game works pixelate and another graphics issues on win 7

hi
iv installd win7
and now i have alot on graphic issues.. the games pixelate or looks bad
i have
ATI radeon hd5750 512 mb, AMD athlon II X4 635 2.90 GHZ, 4 GB ram
and got the leastest drivers

on win xp all the games workd perfectly.. why is that?

If you are referring to the jagged edges on things, this is a antialiasing issue. I would crank up AA in the catalyst control panel and see if the problem goes away a bit. I would also select adaptive aa, as it seems the best balance between performance and result.

What monitor are you using ?

and do you have it through vga or hdmi ?

Try switching the signal style or port nd seeif the jags go away ,especially if you already checked the AA mode and put the smooth edge detect on .

What are your full system specs this would help a lot . You can fill them in here



If you need help finding them out you can use one of these programs.

Or |MG| Specs 1.08.218 Download

You may need to pull off your side cover to get the wattage of your power supply but more important would be the voltage on the +12 volt rail(s)

Is your monitor showing up in device manger as what it is or PnP if the later you should go to the manufacturers site and see if they have driver for it as well.

GTA IV doesn't support AA , nor can it be forced using the control panel. CCC settings don't always have an impact on games.

You could try toggling the CAT A.I , Surface Optimisations, Ensuring the Mipmap detail level is maxed etc

While VGA is a 'lower quality' than DVI / HDMI, your connection type isn't the issue.


Your lower IQ issues are due to the drivers and/or settings.

That's nice but the whole point of filling them in where you were directed is so that on any post you make anyone can click on the My System Specs in the lower left hand corner of any post and see them. This way they don't have to find the post where your screeshots are posted.
