Any game, my internet explorer and nearly everything crashes when I try to open it. I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and has been working perfectly since I installed a couple of weeks ago until today when I got this problem.

Anyone know why this might be happening.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Zombie Penguin
How did it crash? Is there any blue screen appear or it just notified u that it stop working etc..?
First thing to check is your system file, make sure everything is proper
Please run a system file check

Click start-->type cmd in search, then right click to it and run as admin, then sfc /scannow (note that space between sfc and /)

What have you installed recently? Any third party softwares?

Regard,

Tuan

P/S: Opps..I forgot to say one more thing. For the internet explorer in particular, please go to Tool-->Internet option-->Advanced tab-->Reset please. Most of time, it reset to default setting and fix a lot of problem

yeah everything is crashing for me, not so much my browser (google chrome) but some others, and the one that pissed off was sims 3 - i just barely purchased showtime and downloaded and installed it, then i just tried to run it, and windows seven crashed it, i also get DSOD.. i never got any of this on XP... some of my friends say they are back on XP an there windows 7 is sitting on the desk next to them collecting dust.. i feel like i wasted my money, i do like 7, but i cant stand these crashes, it makes me not wanna do anything, not knowing when im gonna lose all my work, and im not gonna save every 5 secs (especially on sims 3)
