Yesteday, I turned on my computer and everything stopped working. I get these little pop up messages from windows saying, " Wndows Live Messenger has stopped working", "itunes has stopped working", "datasafe online has stopped working",etc. I restored my computer to an earlier checkpoint, but it still does the same thing. I also have DEP turned on for essential Windows programs if this helps.

Welcome to Seven Forum, Kage.

What did you do in the last session before you shut down? Did you mess around with the Registry? Did you install some new Programs? Have you kept an image of your C Drive?

Additionally please fill up your computer's specs as best as you can and carry out a virus check if you are able to.

In my last session I just used the internet and listened to music on itunes. If it helps any I checked my device manager and there was a caution symbol beside the Microsoft 6to4 adapter #2. I uninstalled it, but when I went to reinstall it there was no way to. I tried to go under "action" and "add legacy hardware", but the only thing under "action" was "help"

Are you using IPv6 (Internet Protocol version 6) or IPv4? You can read all about Microsoft 6to4 Adapter at Microsoft 6to4 adapter.

Although it is unlikely that deleting the Adapter #2 could be the cause of your problem, you may perhaps try and get it back. Is a Microsoft 6to4 adapter #1 already there and working?

Please note the your IPv6 settings and revert to IPv4. You shall have to do so by going to Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections and then opening the Local Area Connection Property Sheet and making the required changes.

If things become OK then well and good but if they don't then revert back to IPv6, whose settings you had noted. After that please wait for more knowledgeable inputs from other members.

Yesterday I finally received a message that said "An internal error occrred in the initialization stage. The application could not be loaded. Please contact application vendor. Error no. 302" How would I fix this problem? I also scanned my computer today and it said there wasn't any unwanted or malicious software.

What application was that error message referring to?

What kind of AV scan did you use? You could also do an online check with Eset:

ESET :: Get a FREE Online Virus Scan :: Help

Also try running sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt to check/repair system protected files.
