I have tried to eliminate possibilities of this freezing and complete lock up being anything else. I've tried taking out USBs, hard drives, dvd rom drives, RAM, and after everything it locks up and I have to hard reset. I have tried reinstalling windows, reformatting both HDDs that I have as well as using safe mode which still makes it freeze. I can log in to windows, but as soon as I do anything it freezes.
The furthest I got was into a game or starting a video. Once the lock up happens once or twice, I receive no signal to my tv. No matter how times I reset it won't display a boot. I don't know what to look up in my BIOS if I need to either. If I leave it for a while, it seems to work again for long enough to log in again.
