Hi Guys, not sure if there has been a thread about this already, but couldnt find one.

I would love to upgrade to a triple display setup, and know there can be complications with an SLI or CrossFire setup, so was gonna try a single card set up.

I am looking at GTX 680 but not sure whether to go for a 2GB model of the 4GB.

Has any one got a 2GB 680 and running Nvidia Surround? If so how does it run?

Thanks in advance
Toby

I would say go for the 4GB model (if you have the cash).
Having more would be good for games that are released in the future.

I would definitely go with the 4Gig card especially with a 3 monitor setup.

There is a 1GB difference:). I know nothing about AMD products but I would say if the cost savings is great go with the 7970.

its about 550-590 for the 4Gb 680 and 380 for the 7970 so quite a difference, but is the extra 150-200 (ish) more worth it?

plus i might in the future expand to a dual card set up possibly but would review that when ever
