Hi there,

I just installed Office 2007, used to have 2003 and now I cannot save my shared files anymore I get an error message when I try to log in stating that an unexpected file protection occured by System Admin. Then when I try to save a file I get an error message saying that I violated the sharing file and I must save it under a new name, but I need to save it under the same file name since I'm sharing it with 3 other computers.

Can someone please help.

Thanks in advance!

Are the other 3 computers running office 2007 as well? For sharing you really need to have all of the computers running the same version of office.

Could you please translate those "word for word" into english. Does anyone else have that "shared file" open? Try saving it as a different name, then renaming the original file to some other name (ie. add _old to the file name.) Then rename your new file to whatever the original was named.
