Greetings all,

I'm having troubles with 2 excel 2010 spread sheets, that act very sluggish, and takes 3-15 min to make changes. These changes can be as simple as Cut and paste info to a new section, on the same spreadsheet, and will still take 3-15 min (depending on the amount of data being changed.)

The Documents are 2 different sizes, but both appear to have the same problem. (one doc is 4,294KB, the other is 366KB). They are both on the same Drive, and are (seemingly) the only 2 documents that are having this issue.

The sluggish behavior seems to get worse when remote connection is needed to access the files, but a direct connection does not seem to make much difference.

The main computer the drive is on, runs windows7, office 2010 suite, and we use remote desktop to access the remote terminals. Please let me know what other info you need from me to help me solve this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

So, we ended up solving this one through trial and error. The spread sheets were originally imported from Google docs, and through my searching for a solution, we came across a document (linked bellow) that explained what the issue was.

The article Suggests that when downloading a Google Docs file into say Microsoft Office, the file can get mangled. Formatting is not always what it should be, and with the file we have all these drop down boxes, and other stuff that complicates stuff more. So, ultimatly it was Google dogs that caused the issue, not excel or windows. I hope this helps some any one else that comes across this issue.
