I have been trying to find out what Im doing wrong with this. Its not .pgn data im wanting its just copy info with noation
I am wanting to create an Excel 2016 searchable database for ECO Chess openings. I have tried Data>Get data > webpage. I have attached a couple of screen shots to try and explain a bit easier
The first is what Im wanting to copy and the second is what is being copied into Excel. I thought maybe Access database may be better but haven't a clue with Excel

I can't see how you are going to be able to copy the chess hieroglyphs into Excel or to Access.
You will probably have to use Algebraic Notation to describe the moves.
This website might help you & it looks like it should work well in Excel or Access.
