Hi
Ok. God knows what has happen or what setting has changed
I have 2 excel spreadsheets. I use one to index the other and pull information into it.
For some unknown reason excel has stated doing this appdata thing.
The formula use to look like this
=INDEX('[DAILY SORTING OF DATA.xlt]WATCH '!$A$4:$M$1840,MATCH(A3:A1840,'[DAILY SORTING OF DATA.xlt]WATCH '!$A$4:$A$1840,0),11)
now it looks like this
=INDEX('C:\Users\Vic\AppData\Local\Temp\[DAILY SORTING OF DATA1.xlsx]DATA'!$A$2:$M$6000,MATCH(A$2:A$2493,'C:\Users\Vic\AppData\Local\Temp\[DAILY SORTING OF DATA1.xlsx]DATA'!$A$2:$A$6000,0),11)
(yes i know they are 2 different formulas- one is the original from a note pad- but that sheet doesn't work at all now either)
I can't remove the appdata bit from the formula.
I have tried redoing the sheet. It doesn't pull any data at all.
any ideas
