I have BSODed over 5 times in 2 hours today doing a multitude of things. Most of them have been during a spyware scan with SUPERantispyware. Other crashes occur while launching steam, minecraft, playing Team Fortress 2 and playing Garry's Mod. I used WhoCrashed to determine some of the problems but I am currently at my wits end.
[FONT=Segoe UI, Arial]OEM windows 7 64bit I got the computer custom built from iBuypower about a year and a half ago. The OS is also that old.

Hi,

Did you try in safe mode ? And if you do, was there any problem ? Or was it alright ?

If you can, do an analyze with Malwarebytes in safe mode.

When its down, give the result here.

Best regards,
DocteurQui

Scanned with Malwarebytes in safe mode no problems. It found 10 threats called PUP.Mywebsearch or something like that. I don't think that could be causing it alone. Any other suggestions?

I dont think it could be that either.

Did you do something before this problem came ?

It could be a driver issue. Try to reactivate Reatlek High Definition Audio in the device manager, or download the last drivers.

I had 2 sound drivers that were active and that was causing my BSoD's earlier so I de-activated one of them.

Should I de-activate the other?

You can try to do that, and see if that resolve the problem, but if it work, this will only be temporary, because you wont have any sound. So first, do it to localize the issue.

I disabled the AMD Audio driver and re-enabled the Realtek ones but I crashed within 10 minutes while watching youtube. Not sure what to do anymore.

I'm losing hope for this computer

Try to uninstall th driver instead of desativating it. Next, install the last drivers.

Not quite sure about it, but I would say Reatlek.

I could give you a site wich automatically detect the drivers you need, but he is in French. Do you want it ?

Look, nothing is working and I appreciate the help but I think I have bigger problems.

Would buying a new hard drive and canning this one help? Just start over new.

If you dont want to spend more time to fix it, you had better to try to format and reinstall Windows before buying a new hard drive. The problem seems to come from a driver, so a new hard drive will probably not be neccessary.

We know very little about your system or the crashes occurring on it. Please follow the http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html to provide us with more information and the actual .dmp files. 3rd party .dmp analysis tools are unreliable and often just tell us Windows is not working right. You would not be here if it were working right. We need the full crash reports to find out why it is not working right.

I'm sorry but I did follow the instructions very clearly. I used JCgriff2's tools and posted the results. I'm not sure what else I need to do. I seem to be having different problems now though so I'm running the tools again. And will post the results

Ah, I do see you followed them initially. It is good to get an up to date version, though. In the meantime, I'll take a look at the older ones and give my analysis.

Analysis:

Problem Devices:
Code:
Realtek High Definition Audio	HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A022&REV_1003\4&2979E09F&0&0201	This device is disabled.
Were you aware of the above? If so, please explain your reasoning so we can understand your troubleshooting steps.

You only have SuperAntiSpyware installed for security. That is not enough. I recommend either of these:
After installing your security software, update it, and then run full scans today with each program. Report back the results of the scans.

Problematic Software:
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\GIGABYTE\ET6	Public:Start Menu\Programs\GIGABYTE\ET6	Public
Start Menu\Programs\MSI Afterburner	Michael-PC\Michael:Start Menu\Programs\MSI Afterburner	Michael-PC\Michael
The above software provides software overclocking to the system. Software overclocking is not recommended because it does not set up the BIOS settings properly for the overclock to be stable. Please remove the two programs listed above.

Also, remove any fast charging software/devices from the system. They put the USB ports in an unnatural power state that can lead to crashes.

Your crashes point to backup software. If you have any 3rd party backup software, remove it to see if the system is then stable. If you do not have backup software, disable Windows Backup and reset your System Protection/System Restore setup:

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/5618-backup-user-system-data-files-enable-disable.html

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/330-system-protection-turn-off.html - Turn it off first. Apply the changes, hit OK, and restart the system. Then turn it back on.

Thank you for the help I'm running the programs again right now for an update. Since I first posted I have re-enabled the realtek driver and removed the ET6 and MSI afterburner.

I have a hunch though. Frequently my computer freezes up and I can't do anything and during that time I can't hear my hard drive. The performance monitor on my G19 records 0 cpu usage. Could my HDD be failing?
