execute command at boot

Hi,

I would like to execute a command at boot and repeat it until it succeeds. Does anyone know how I can achieve that ?

For the moment, I run the command in the startup folder, so it does run just after user connection but, as it is a connection demand to another computer by ssh, if the other computer is not ready yet, the command just fails and stop bother. I'd like it to retry until connection is established.

So is there a service I can use or should I write a script right away ?

Nota : I know nothing about VBScript.. yet. :huh:

Yes !

I registered a session and load it with a link placed in the startup group :

plink.exe -T -load "session"

Since my first post I installed puttytray which adds 2 options in the connection tab :

1 - reconnect on failure
2 - reconnect at startup

But it is not enough as it tries to conect a few times - 3 or 5, and dismiss. The number of retries does not seem to be configurable.
