Hi all
The difference in the expiry date bewteen WINVER and SIW has been bugging me -- I know it's a moot point since RTM will be out LONG before then but some things just stay in the brain.
Anyway the REAL expiry date is based on the Licensing procedure
so if you type in elevated command mode
slmgr /dlv
you'll find the expiry date is (in my case) 02 june 2010 -- yours might be 01 June 2010 -- depending on regional code and when you installed it.
After entering the command wait a few seconds for a new window to appear.
So SIW has it.

I think it all depends on your location and how dates are set for that location.
Mine says the same as yours. Maybe someone in the USA can check theirs and advise.
well i just stumbled on this when i was trying to find out the time in redmond so i snipped it,it seems the good people of redmond think different to most of us and write the month first-

That is standard USA date format.....it can catch us Normal people out at times.
I am pretty sure that all settings etc change when you set your location, so all we need is for someone in the USA to check winver and slmgr and advise what theirs says.
