I was organizing some maps on my PC, but sometimes when i change the name of a file (for example from "[bookname] - [authorname]" to "[authorname] - [bookname]") it gives every file in that folder the name i gave the one file with a number on the end. I can't find any records online of people having the same problem so i thought i would create a forum account. I hope you guys can help.

That usually only happens if you highlight all files in the folder and select one of them to be renamed. Can't say why it would happen if only one file is highlighted!
