I tripped over a cord and abruptly unplugged my extension cord and my computer. When I launch in normal mode explorer.exe crashes after a few minutes. this happens every time I launch in normal mode. I am currently typing this from safe mode.
I have disabled all programs from starting when the computer starts and found a thread online suggesting I copy and paste my explorer.exe from c:/windows into c:/ windows / System32 so I did that and it didn't help entirely, I noticed the crash happens a bit later than it used too. Which I think rules out hardware issues at least slightly
I ran cmd and tried sfc /scannow and this is the log i got back (open the CBS.zip file its just a compressed .txt) it said it found corrupt files and was unable to fix some of them. so a few are still corrupted.
that's all I've got for now any help would be appreciated.
