explorer.exe stuck when IE8(32 bit) active.

I've used windows 7 pro x64 for about 6 month. Today after I had installed a game in my laptop, suddenly my browser IE8 which I usually use in 32 bit mode made my explorer stuck. as long as its process running, my explorer could not give me any respon. i couldn't minimize it through taskbar. I couldn't refresh the desktop. all i could do is browsing in the browser. the browser didn't have problem while it was running but it made my explorer stuck which really annoy me.

On the other hand, my 64 bit ie is working well. it doesn't make my explorer stuck. i can minimize, open another task, refresh my desktop, etc which can't be done in while i use ie 8 in 32 bit mode.

is there anybody has a same problem as mine? please give me a solution to this problem. thank you.

Hello Welcome to SF,

Try to disable all the add-ons and see whether that makes a difference.

Start > Under search type No-add-ons there you'll find the IE open that see whether you have any problems.
You could also reset the IE to default settings Tool > Internet Options > Advance > Reset
Caution : What ever custom settings you had will be erased !!
Also Download Malwarebytes and install it and run a Complete Scan !!

Hope this helps,
Captain

Thx for your help.. I've tried those method unfortunately still it doesn't work. Malwarebyte detected 2 registry which are infected by trojan. After I had cleaned them, the problem hasn't sloved.

There's also something strange. If my mozilla firefox is running, explorer won't stuck when i run IE8 32bit. There are only 2 browser that I can use in my laptop. They are mozilla firefox and IE8 in 64bit. I've tried google chrome and it only works well when mozilla had run first.

About 3 months ago, My safari also behaved like this. Since I was just trying safari browser in my windows 7. I thought it was compability problem. And now my IE8 which I use regularly also behave like this. I'm so comfused and don't know what to do.

:cry::cry::cry:
