Hello, I've been battling with multiple problems recently and I need some fixes guys.

I've attached a few images named "Problem1-3" with the 3 problems I've been experiencing and will let you exactly what's happening and what I want fixed down below.

Problem 1: The left side bar in my explorer folder has been changed. I don't know when or how this could've happened but I've given you an example of what it should look like and what MINE looks like. I need it to look like the example I've given you. Keep in mind I am aware that there is no "Homegroup" or "Libraries" folder as I have had those removed, and NO that's not the reason why it's like that because I removed those AFTER the problem occurred, and double checked. The desktop folder will not be moved to the "Favorites folder" but I'll give you more information about that in my other problem.

Problem 2: My Desktop Folder (why is it a folder in the first place) will NOT leave my User Account folder. If I DO try to move it to, say, the Local Disk for example, it simply recreates itself and is now in BOTH locations, and when I try to delete one it deletes both, forcing me to go to the recycle bin to recover it.

Problem 3: When I click my Windows Explorer File that's pinned to the bottom of my desktop, it directly opens all of the Windows folders and redirects to System32. I am aware that it usually opens to the "Libraries" folder but isn't there a way to change where it first opens? I can't backtrack all the way from system 32 to my User Folder just to see some files, that's just a joke.

Anyways guys I really hope you can help me out and thank you in advance :)

I can fix the Explorer initial folder location. That's an easy one. Right click on the Explorer icon pinned to Taskbar, then right click again on the Explorer icon inside. In Target line paste this line
C:\Windows\explorer.exe ::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}

That will open to Computer. To open in another location see this list

Make sure to include the double colon when pasting into the shortcut target field.

Problem 2: My Desktop Folder (why is it a folder in the first place) will NOT leave my User Account folder
The concept goes back to Windows 95, maybe earlier with other software publishers. If users were around then they might have run across Packard Bell's Navigator. The Desktop is akin to an office, the HDD is a file cabinet in the office and Folders are in the file cabinet's drawers with files/papers inside the Folders. Each User has his/her own Desktop when logging on and that can't be changed but the contents of the Desktop can be.
